I don’t know if it is true but have hear over the years that human nature is to fight or run yet have experienced and see the value of standing one’s ground. Yes, the fight or flight are ingrained, instinctual attributes, or are they? Perhaps stay is also a basic of human nature. To fight or flee without the ability to stay our species would have not advanced and those who have not added “stay” to their autopilot are missing out and do not help the cause. Our species who settled areas, brought food back and learned to gather then farm stayed; did not fight or run. It seems most of our problems are from those who fight or run or those who expect others to. Our cultures and dimension are predicated on movement not staying therefore to stay is an achievement.
